Zinery is an all-in-one platform built specifically for music blogs and their contributors. It consists of two core components. 1. The Contributor Hub (available now – 100% free): get a custom link (yourname.zinery.co) where writers and photographers can request coverage for shows, festivals, interviews, and reviews. Review, approve, and track all team assignments in one central dashboard instead of digging through scattered DMs and spreadsheets. 2. The Music Blog Publishing Tool (Coming Soon): publish and feature your team’s finished coverage directly on the same hub, keeping your whole workflow in one place.

Zinery originally started as an internal tool to solve my own publishing headaches, but it’s designed for any independent music publication, especially for those covering live music. It’s ideal for blog owners coordinating a team of writers and photographers who want to replace messy emails, spreadsheets, and group chats with one dedicated platform. But even if you run a solo blog, or are just about to launch your first one, Zinery simplifies your setup.

The Contributor Hub plan is free to start, with no credit card required. It includes contributor management, request approvals, a shared calendar, photo pass tracking, and a contacts directory at no cost. The publishing side will be an optional paid plan once it ships, integrated with your existing Contributor Hub account rather than a separate signup.

This additional plan will let you publish what your team already covers straight to your own branded blog, connected to the artists, venues, and events already tracked in your hub. The Contributor Hub is free and live today, and the music blog publishing side joins the same hub the moment it ships, with nothing to migrate.

No, you don't. Your hub and blog automatically runs on yourname.zinery.co. If you prefer to connect your domain you can do so (coming soon).

From the admin panel, add a writer or photographer by email. They get an invite, sign up, and land directly in your hub – no separate accounts or passwords for you to hand out or manage.

Every contributor's request for a show, festival, interview, or review land on your dashboard. You can approve or decline requests individually, or act on several at once, filtering and sorting however you like.

Yes. Zinery shows exactly which shows still need a photo pass requested, and you can mark each one confirmed or denied as it's settled, so nothing gets lost in an email thread. No matter if you send out the requests for your team or each contributor sends them out individually, the status can be updated both by you and your contributors.

Yes. One calendar shows every upcoming show across your whole team, so you always know who's covering what and when, without asking around.

Yes. Zinery includes a searchable directory for your industry contacts – press, venues, and other companies – organized and linked directly to the events they relate to.

Contributors can request coverage. Editors can additionally write and manage posts (coming soon). Admins can do all of that plus approve requests, manage the team, and configure the hub. You choose each person's role when you add them, or change it anytime.

Your Contributor Hub – the admin side where requests, approvals, and contacts live – is only visible to your signed-in team, not the public.

Not necessarily. The Contributor Hub is built to organize your team's requests, approvals, and coverage pipeline – it works alongside whatever you already publish on, rather than requiring you to move your blog. Once the publishing tool ships, you'll have the option to publish there instead, but nothing about the Hub requires it.

Depending on the publication you're signed up with, you can request coverage for shows, festivals, interviews, reviews & more. Artist and venue fields autocomplete as you type, so a request takes less than a minute to submit.

Every request has a status – requested, approved, declined, withdrawn, or done – visible right from your dashboard, so you always know where things stand without having to ask. Coming soon: email notifications for every status update.

Yes. A single sign-in can belong to multiple Contributor Hubs, each with its own role, so writers and photographers covering more than one publication only need one account.
